Industrial IoT Solutions
Industrial IoT (IIoT) means securely collecting data from machines, sensors and PLCs in the field and processing, monitoring and reporting it in the cloud or on a local server. This data is the basis of condition monitoring, alarms, maintenance planning and production analysis.
We design and develop end-to-end IoT architectures: an edge device or gateway that reads from the PLC and sensor layer, a transfer layer that moves data with lightweight protocols such as MQTT, a database that stores it and web dashboards for operators. For protocol-level details, see our machine data acquisition page.

Project scope
- Reading data from PLCs and sensors (protocols such as OPC UA and Modbus TCP; details defined per machine)
- Pre-processing and temporary local buffering on an edge device or IoT gateway
- Encrypted transfer to the cloud or a local server over MQTT or HTTPS
- Time-series storage and historical queries
- Real-time monitoring dashboards with threshold-based alarms and notifications
- Monitoring device connection status and basic health information
- Authentication, role-based access and encrypted communication

Frequently asked questions
What is industrial IoT?
Industrial IoT is the approach of letting production and infrastructure equipment share data over sensors and networks. The collected data is used for monitoring, alarms, maintenance planning and analysis.
How is data transferred from a PLC to an IoT platform?
It depends on the protocol the PLC supports: interfaces such as OPC UA or Modbus TCP can be read directly; otherwise an IoT gateway or extra hardware may be required. The data is usually sent to the server over MQTT or HTTPS.
What is the difference between IoT and SCADA?
SCADA is typically used for control and supervision inside a facility. IoT solutions focus on collecting and analysing data at a wider scale, often cloud-based and across several sites. They can work together; the aim is not to replace existing control systems but to add a monitoring layer to them.
How is data security handled?
Encrypted communication (TLS), authentication and role-based access are used. Network structure and access policies are designed around the company's IT/OT rules.
Can older machines without a PLC be connected to IoT?
In many cases this is possible with extra hardware such as sensors, counters or energy analyzers; feasibility is assessed machine by machine.
Do you offer a ready-made IoT platform?
This page describes a project-based development service; it is not an off-the-shelf product. Scope and integrations are defined after a needs analysis.
